Day 1, Arrival to Panama
Upon arrival to Panama the group will be met in the Tocumen International airport and escorted to your hotel for 7 nights. Various hotels are available to choose from, such as the Country Inn Amador with a spectacular view of the entrance of to the Panama Canal and the Pacific Ocean, the B&B Lemon Inn, the 3* Aloft, the 4* Marriott Finisterre, and the 5* Bristol among others.
Panama City and nearby attractions include Frank Gerhys's Biodiversity Museum, the Smithsonian Tropical Research exhibition center, Albrook Shopping Mall, Metropolitan National Park and City of Knowledge, the Panama Canal Railway, and the Pier and Panama's national bus terminal.
Day 2 Old & New Panama City
Now that you are acquainted with your travel mates, let’s get acquainted with Panama! We'll will explore the ruins of Panama Vieja founded in 1519 and the first Spanish settlement on the Pacific side of the Americas. Today a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this ancient city of Panama was the gateway for Peru’s gold and silver to travel across the isthmus on its way to Spain. Your guide will lead you on an exploration of what remains of the cities original convents and seminaries, which were looted and destroyed by Sir Henry Morgan in 1671.
Then crossing the New Town, with its important banking and commercial center, we explore Casco Antiguo, a colonial area, which is the second oldest city of Panama, and the historic center of Panama City. It is a quiet, charming district of narrow streets overlooked by the flower bedecked balconies of two and three-story houses. At its tip lies Plaza de Francia, a monument to the French builders and Ferdinand de Lesseps who began the Panama Canal. As we meander through the area we will see the remaining ruins of the convents and seminaries, the famous Flat Arch which reportedly helped convince engineers that Panama was earth-quake-proof, the Presidential Palace, and the beautiful Cathedral with its mother of pearl covered spires. Among the architecture with Spanish and French influence, we will view the Paseo Esteban Huertas, the Plaza Bolívar, Plaza de la Catedral, Plaza Herrera, San José Church, Altar de Oro, and National Theatre.

Day 3 Panama Canal Zone
Today we will visit the Causeway Amador, and its group of islands. Depending on the time of the ships, we will visit the Miraflores Locks the most visited locks of the Panama Canal. We will explore the Panama Canal area, than once was a Colony of USA, this is the reasson the the architecture is different in this surrounding area.

Day 4 The Panama Canal Transit
During this morning our representative will transport you from your hotel of lodging to check-in counter. The tour starts at the Flamenco Resort and Marina where passengers board motor coaches for a 45 minute ride to Gamboa town where the Panama Canal Dredging Division is located. Here you will board the Vesel to start the water portion of the tour. We enter the canal at the north end of the Gailard cut, where the Chagres River flows into the canal. The Gaillard Cut (also known as Culebra Cut because its curves resemble a snake) is one of the main points of interest for visitors because it was carved through the Continental Divide and this section of the Canal is full of history and geological value. We will travel the Cut's 13.7 kilometers on the way to Pedro Miguel Locks. As you transit the Cut you will be able to appreciate the continuous maintenance that this area requires, because it is very susceptible to landslides. In this area you will also be able to observe the work in process for the Panama Canal expansion project.
Before reaching the Pedro Miguel Locks at the southern end of the Cut, you will be able to view the new Centennial Bridge which crosses over the Canal. Next, we will enter Pedro Miguel Locks, which is one of the two sets of locks on the Pacific side. Then we will enter Miraflores Lake, which is a small artificial body of fresh water that separates Pedro Miguel from Miraflores Locks, the latter being the final set of locks before reaching the Pacific Ocean. Once in the Pacific Ocean the vessel will sail to the beautiful Flamenco Marina where passengers disembark. On the way to Flamenco, you will pass under the Bridge of the Americas, and later, you will be able to admire the Bay of Panama and Panama City's splendorous skyline.

Day 5 Panama Canal Nature
This adventure begins on the edge of Gamboa, crossing the Chagres River, up to the Gatun Lake in the Panama Canal, one of the biggest artificial lakes of the world with an area of 425 square kilometers. In this great adventure you will have the opportunity to visit several islands, where you will see the flora
and fauna, watch up close friendly capuchins and howling monkeys, as well as observe numerous bird species. This tour is ideal for nature lovers who will be charmed with the aquatic life, while at the same time enjoying the wonderful rainforest. Day 6 Coast to Coast, Panama Canal Railroad
Begin your day at 6:00 a.m. with a journey from Panama City to Colon on the historical train built in 1880 by a French company which was building the Panama Canal. The train journey takes about 1 hour, taking you to Colon, going through the jungle, the Soberania National Park and along the Panama Canal. Once you meet our representative again in Colon train station, we will start our exprerience, we will visit Gatun Locks of the Panama Canal, Panama Canal Expansion visitor Center, Colon arquitecture and San Lorenzo fort.

Day 7 Chagres River and Emberá Indians
This adventure takes us to the indigenous community in the Chagres National Park. We will start crossing the Chagres river in a piragua (traditional canoe) get to know the culture of the Embera Indians and witness their artisans and enjoy the knowledge of botanical plants. Their cultural dances and music will make you travel back in time. If you like you can also paint your body as they do with the fruit known as Jagua.
We can also observe the grand variety of birds found in these areas. Walk in the jungle, explore waterfalls and learn from a magical culture, all this in just one day. Includes: Land and boat round trip transportation, snacks and soft drinks, traditional lunch and specialized guide
